Kotoku Shinning Stars Share Spoils With Accra Golden Boys In GARFA Soccerbet Division Two
GARFA Matchday two saw Kotoku Shining Stars FC host Accra Golden Boys in a fixture which was expected to be tough.
The game started with the hosts creating a lot of chances as expected but failed to convert any of their chances. The visitors also had chances of their own but also failed to score,thus keeping the score line goalless at the break.
Soon after the halftime break, the visitors would take the lead by capitalizing on an error from the Shining Stars defense and take the lead . The hosts would then play catch-up as they tried endlessly to equalize but to no avail. When all hope seemed lost, substitute Arcadius N-yong pounced on a poor clearance from the Golden Boys defense and then proceeded to dribble through the defense,eventually being brought down in the penalty box to win a penalty for the hosts. Emmanuel Asante stepped up to convert the penalty to bring the game level with only few minutes to go.
Both teams would hold on to end the match as a draw. This puts both teams on 4 points each and so far unbeaten in the league after Match Day 2.
