Kotoku Shinning Stars Beat 7 Wave Fc In GARFA Soccerbet Division Two
Kotoku Shining Stars FC hosted rivals 7th Wave FC on match day 7 in a much anticipated game.
The hosts dominated the game right from the start possessing more of the ball and dictating the play in the first half. The visitors tried catching them on the counter but fell short most of the time thus the game being goalless at the break.
The second half saw a variety of chances created until the hosts finally broke the deadlock through Dominic Bonsu through a set piece. Shortly after the first goal the hosts got their second through Patrick Boakye after he started a transition play. All seemed like it was going to be a cruise for the hosts until the visitors pulled one back through a free kick setting the score to 2-1 and bringing the game back to life .
The last 30 minutes saw a fine display of attacking transitions and counter attacking plays from both sides as the game became very open and right for the taking. It seemed like the visitors had gotten an upper hand until Kotoku Shining Stars were awarded a penalty following a clumsy challenge by the opponent defender after yet another smooth transition from the hosts. Emmanuel Asante converted the penalty to seal the win for the hosts. Thus the match ended Kotoku Shining Stars FC 3 – 7th Wave FC 1 .
